designed to help you get a coding job!
Yay! I totally get the appeal. 🙂
Apart from being a lot of fun, and a great challenge, coding jobs often start at much higher salaries than you may be earning now.
This career change can vastly improve your life, and give you opportunities and professional value you never imagined.
So, what is it going to take?
Well, in 2019, it’s totally possible to teach yourself to code. That’s right—no expensive bootcamps, or 4-year Computer Science degrees! You can literally learn to code for free.
Gone are the days where you needed to attend a university and get an expensive diploma in order to secure a career in programming! This is because the level of education offered online is far more thorough and effective than it’s ever been.
If you want a job, you’ll need job-ready skills, right? You want to be able to sit down at your first job, or with your first freelancing client, and feel confident that your skills are worth the money they’re paying you.
But even then, you'll have lots of questions, like:
You’re going to need confidence in order to get your first job—employers can sniff out lack of/faked confidence like you wouldn’t believe!
To seek out the answers to each of these questions would take up a lot of time. I know this, because I spent months just trying to work out the logistics of each.
Once I finally figured it all out, it was a stressful race to start building the skills. It didn’t need to be stressful. My experience learning to code should have been more relaxed.
But I’ve since learned why it was so hard, and how to avoid those difficulties—and now I want to teach you. And the lessons I learned, I turned into an online course called Newbie Coder Career Change School.
