Community

welcome home!

to the La Vie en Code Community

I can tell you that it gets lonely working through the experience of teaching yourself to code. It can feel really isolating.

We get nervous when we interact with others in the industry, and that heckin’ imposter syndrome kicks in hard.

The result? We end avoiding the community that we so desperately need, especially in these trying times of the pandemic.

What makes this community different?

La Vie en Code Community has been built by an award-winning community builder and organizer with a track record of fostering super fun environments for people who want to be unapologetically themselves.

I create communities based on the type of environment I would personally enjoy being a part of!

I love genuine interactions, lots of humor, and a relaxed space where people can really be themselves.

I recognize that so many of us in the tech spaces lack the sense of safety we really need to be vulnerable and inspire others with our stories

I see everyday that we end up losing so much of our individuality to the professional spaces. And I’m on a mission to show the world that we *can* be social AND professional while still being the unique individuals we were made to be.
